The Six-Step Process

From phone call to door cycling clean.

Every unknown answered before it's asked. No surprises, no downtime you didn't plan for.

1–2 hours on-site
Assessment01

We come to you. You do nothing.

A Rollup field technician arrives at your facility within 24 hours — sooner for emergencies. They measure the opening, inspect the structural header, assess the floor seal, and photograph existing hardware. You get a written condition report before they leave.

Your role

Unlock access to the bay. That's it.

Recommendation02

The right door for the job. Not the most expensive one.

Based on the assessment, we specify the exact door type, gauge, insulation value, and hardware package for your application. Sectional panel or rolling steel? Manual chain or motorized? We explain the trade-offs in plain English — cycle ratings, R-values, fire ratings — so you make an informed call.

Your role

Review the spec sheet. Ask questions. Approve or revise.

Quote03

One number. No surprises buried in the invoice.

Your quote covers door, hardware, labor, haul-away of the old unit, and permit fees where required. The price you approve is the price on the final invoice. If a hidden condition — like a rotted header — surfaces during installation, we stop and call you before we proceed. Always.

Your role

Sign the quote digitally. No fax machine required.

Scheduling04

Your calendar runs the facility. We work around it.

We schedule around your operation — early morning, overnight, or weekend installs for facilities that can't afford downtime during business hours. You'll receive a confirmation with your crew's names, a 2-hour arrival window, and a direct number to reach the lead tech.

Your role

Pick a time slot. Receive confirmation. Done.

Two-person installation crew in safety gear assembling a large sectional steel overhead door in a warehouse
Step 05
4–8 hours typical
Installation05

Clean install. Full test. Bay back in service.

Our two-person crew handles everything: demo of the old door, header reinforcement if needed, door assembly, spring tensioning, track alignment, opener wiring, and safety-edge testing. The bay is swept and cleared before we leave. We don't go home until the door cycles 10 times clean.

Your role

Stay on your normal schedule. We handle the rest.

Step 06

Final Walkthrough06

You sign off. We leave documentation behind.

The lead tech walks you through the installed system: manual release procedure, spring tension indicators, lubrication points, and warranty terms. You receive a PDF service record, manufacturer warranty card, and our direct line for the 1-year labor warranty. If anything isn't right, we come back. No charge.

Your role

Sign the completion form. Keep the service record.

From the Field

Facility managers who had a door down. Now they don't.

"A forklift clipped the bottom panel of our dock door on a Friday afternoon. Rollup had a tech on-site by 7 AM Saturday and the door was cycling before our first truck arrived. Zero missed deliveries. That's the only metric that matters."

"We specified Rollup for all twelve bays on our new distribution center. Their field team coordinated with our GC directly — no babysitting required. The final walkthrough documentation was cleaner than most architects deliver."
